Aurora’s consultants have worked on a wide range of projects over the years, including:

  • Working with an international stockbroker to help them with many aspects of migrating their system and data from an in-house system to an outsourcing supplier. This included data profiling, data cleansing, data preparation, project management and test design and management.
  • Helping a regional stockbroker with data cleansing and also the integration of a portfolio management system with their existing back and middle office system, including data profiling and analysis and test design and management.
  • Advising a stockbroking and fund management firm that was having difficulty integrating an acquired software supplier. Directing successful projects including the roll-out of a .Net based performance analytics enquiry system to fund managers at multiple branches.
  • Designing and project managing the development of a financial messaging hub. Working on successfully interfacing the hub between many applications including different broking and banking applications, front office products (eg. Bloomberg, Fidessa), settlement systems (eg. CREST), payments systems (eg. SWIFT), accounting systems, custody systems and confirmation systems.
