Formed in 2002 by financial IT specialists Ian Murray and Caroline Atkinson, Aurora Business Consultancy is the result of the fusion of their technical aptitude and financial industry knowledge, gleaned from over 30 years of hands on experience in the business. Prior to forming Aurora, Ian and Caroline were owners and directors of financial software company, Synchronicity, which provided STP settlement systems, syndicated lending systems and bespoke programming and consultancy to a large range of financial institutions. They sold Synchronicity in 2001 to ABS to increase size, sales and global presence.
Caroline and Ian are a formidable team that has the proven ability to work with a wide range of large and small companies on both the IT and the business sides. Their experience gives them the rare ability to combine a profound understanding of both the commercial and IT aspects of a project.
They have been involved in many successful data migration, data integration and data quality projects and bring their wide-ranging experience of these to their data consultancy work.
